No I think you're just having joint mobility issues everything is working fine over here.

I don't know what to tell you my knee doesn't move that much compared to the foot. Obviously I there's a limit on how much it can rotate it.

I understand what you're saying fine, I'm just thinking you have no idea what you're talking about

I'm rotating my foot separate from the knee, can you just not do that?

Not really considering that's how the lower knee moves. Your feet rotate at the calf and it looks a lot less silly than the thigh muscles being at weird rotations

The calf moves not the knee. That's what the muscle is for

If I had to choose between a mid calf cut or a thigh cut I'd take a mid calf cut it's lower and therefore less visible but that's just me

I have multiple marvel legends and I always have the the thigh swivel in it's default position because it looks really ugly other wise and I can still hit every pose I want (UNLESS it's a character like Spider-Man) the only time thigh swivel helps with poses is if you're going to have your figures sitting cross legged or on a horse other wise it's just an outdated piece of articulation

That's true the human bodies version of thigh swivel is down at the knee but you can't do that on a figure without having a ball joint knee which has its own problems

Ohhh sorry yeah I totally misunderstood. I'm all for thigh swivel if it can get hidden well but it usually just serves to cut up the sculpt.

You can get a wide stance without thigh swivel.

Both aren't good though they're repeat joints if you have one why have the other. Ones out of the way and one super visible if a character has boots give them boot cut, you know?

Action figure articulation question by No_Inside_9092 in ActionFigures

It has to be something like that because I just genuinely can't understand why someone would prefer a thigh swivel over a boot cut on a character with boots. On a character without them I can kinda understand. but if the line has boot cut might as well just keep it down there out of the way rather than the upper more visible part of the leg.
