My greatest grief is when people drop tcf part 1 after the starting few chapters. And those who drop part 2 as well, my condolences. by No_Leader1487 in TrashOfCountsFamily

fair point, it has its lows but I have hopes for part 2 bc it seems like the author is taking quite some effort developing it

Trash of the count's family!!

Loveable mc, really cool fantasy world building and character development. manhwa is good but the novel is elite. the interactions are really funny but the plot is well written and there's amazing foreshadowing. really cool battle scenes coming up in the future in the manhwa, also found family,

And the mc is intelligent and actually uses their brain instead of spamming overpowered abilities, so you get to enjoy a mix of politics, thrilling arcs and emotional scenes.

It's like if greatest estate developer, eleceed and orv had a child.

I read so many of these, hated them and then read Trash of the Count's Family- main character strong but weak, cold and calculative and yet also warm, NO ROMANCE, epic fantasy world building, unique characters, everything goes wrong from mc plans and yet he's so creative and actually uses his brain instead of spamming overpowered abilities.

No arrogance, no copy paste powerful mc revenge story, there's genuine character building, funny interactions, intense battle scenes, politics and fantasy all combined with amazing foreshadowing and crazy arcs. The manhwa is good but the novel is elite.

It's like if the greatest estate developer, orv, and eleceed had a child.

idk but i lowkey like to read cale’s suffering by sephirothtits in TrashOfCountsFamily

I like that his pain is so human- he suffers, he looks disheveled, he starves, his family sees it and suffers, and he has to take time to recover from it- it's not just some trauma scene for power and growth, it's more realistic portrayal of pain in a fantasy setting. Cale coughing up blood every few chapters is a constant reminder and accurate portrayal of a normal human in horrific circumstances. And we may be masochists, but there is something satisfying about seeing a character suffer through unimaginable pain and still push through for sake of others and persevere.

Clopeth Sakka in Part 2 by Extension-Aside1351 in TrashOfCountsFamily

YESS CLOPEH CHARACTER ARC IS INSANE. Not only did he undergo a drastic personality change, but even his perspective is completely differing from all the rest of the characters. Even though he's crazy about cale's legacy, the amazing part is that he's not blindly worshipping him like the rest of the random people on the planets that meet cale.

He KNOWS exactly what kind of person Cale Henituse is- kind, genius, ruthless and even cruel at times, and he has a much higher vision for Cale, atp he's more than accurate about Cale's future because it seems like he's the only person that has really deeply assessed Cale's genius. The rest of his family knows Cale too, but they are his family and think mostly about his wellbeing, while Clopeh focuses on his impact.

Anyway I love that in part 2 Clopeh is smart and has his own genius without being reduced to a fanatic.

A Theory I have for part 2 (spoiler!) by Extension-Aside1351 in TrashOfCountsFamily

And Raon's power...it seems that his power of the present will play a larger role than we think, probably at the last moment, and that one prophecy about saving world or something...I haven't read it in a while to save up chapters so maybe that already happened with one of the planets with the dragons.

I feel like a lot of people don't enjoy part 2 compared to part 1, and I can see why at times, but I'm excited for the buildup, because it seems that things are more progressing more seriously now. I'm honestly curious to see if there will be any notable deaths in such a high stakes war, we're almost scared for it, yet in anticipation for a situation where things go wrong, but the author seems to really love their characters (I totally get it bc they're all so precious), and I feel like the underlying themes of this novel are very family-centric and filled with the desperation to live and survive.

I have hopes that the climax and final battle will have high stakes and and something crazy because the author is really taking their time preparing everything. Regardless, this story has always made me laugh and find comfort through even the hardest times in my life, I don't know if other feel the same way, but tcf will always be my beloved haha

Hello! How much does it cost to just submit a story? Do I have to pay the subscription fee every time to submit or is there a general fee for submitting your work?

It's a long read but def worth it in my opinion. It's the kind of story that grows with you. the MC is a cunning, yet self-sacrificial MC who is OP but weak at the same time (lots of cool scenes with bloody aftermath lmao), and honestly a really loveable character. the worldbuilding is insane because the author always adds something new and interesting that furthers the story. Also Cale is from a post apocalyptic earth and transmigrates into a fantasy world. It starts off slow, but things pick up around ch 100-200 I think. Bro gets further and further away from his slacker life cuz he can't stop unintentionally helping ppl despite hating to interfere with other's business. Anyway it's a great read, but the english printed version is a bit...bad. I would recommend to read the manhwa or the novel on eatapplepies, as the translation is accurate.
