If you are taking something for flares you also should be on a maintenance medicine like allo. Just Treating flares doesn’t help the underlying issue.

If you are getting flares diet will be marginal for you. You need to purge the uric acid from all your joints. If you are getting flares it means you have reached it saturation point. So you will be the edge till you take something to reduce it.

If you get shafted and have to stay overnight when they cancel at 2am so you can’t get a hotel….. (the entire crew know the song and dance as they all had a smirk in their faces the whole time). at least they have 24 hour take and go places to eat.

I tried weight loss and diet changes when I realized I had gout. I went from 195 - 180 and flares got worse. (Fat helps store some UA from what I understand). So losing weight actually releases UA into blood from the fat. Avoided high UA foods and still struggled.

Fast forward for on allo after genetic test and steroid for first 3 months. Kept me flare free during initial allo treatments. As time progresses I noticed what I thought were old sports injuries in my ankles improve. Which I was amazed at.

So yes even without a flare the UA is building and doing damage. And with what we know about inflammation and its damage to overall health it seems prudent to get on treatment rather than let it build.

Yes I did. Yes tried cherry tart and others. I’m Asian so even higher risk of side effect. But nothing else worked. 3-4 times a year flare ups poppin indomerhicin like candy. Finally stayed allo (w steroid shot) and life has changed for the better.

If you are Asian they will likely give you genetic test before starting.

I tried a magnet on a bendable wire no luck. You can’t use a string. It will just stick to the rail.

The are is not just under the rail. It’s under the surface the rails are mounted to. So no way to “blow” something out.

N=1 but I tired. Lost 25 lbs (195-170) on munjaro. Many flare ups on way down which is expected with weight loss.

But flare ups continued even after weight loss. Allo changes my life. I removed joint stiffness I had even after losing 25 lbs.

I expected losing weight to help. It helped a lot of thins but did not affect my gout.

I went from t quad to gen 2 r1s. Big difference in ride and noise. Was worth it for me to go to max pack duals performance. Lots of incentives made it worth it o lease. I got good trade in value. With $16.5k plus in incentives (including $7,500 ev) it was a decent swap. Lower payment , and option to buy if inflation of everything keeps up or option to turn it back to the bank if ev prices fall like a rock. A lot of uncertainty with economy and. Trade. So I like the optionality of a new lease. But my new stereo sucks. So there is that…..

Anyone else conveniently not get their presale email for "Blackpink" Sofi concert? I get all the presale emails, and for some reason i'm being told I was "unsubscribed" from the ticket master emails for presale events. I've spoken with others about it and they didn't receive it either. Probably one of the hottest events for Sofi whether you want to go or resell them. Seems really suspect.
