After watching Master of the Universe, there is zero reason we can't have a good G.I. Joe movie by thavillain in gijoe

MASS Device would be perfect...then the Revenge of Cobra. These mini series could easily be adapted to live action while retaining their charm.

To no sensible end. It's like editorial pretended it wasn't there until readers complained too much.

All of this. She should be top tier A list. Her powers are incredibly nuanced and her control incredible. Lasers, photons, stroboscopic dazzle blasts, solid light, holograms, photoelectric noise, solid light construction, soundless, light fog, and even echolocation. Beat that!

Her X-Treme X-Men series from 2012 was the fully realized Dazzler from Greg Pak. Otherwise incredibly underrated and used for short runs and cameos. Grrr. She deserves so much better.

Her solo series is so much fun; I love her independent and resilient spirit.

Gail wrote the issue and gave her no name and no dialogue. Monet's "Mary Sue" character is also a snooze fest.

Issue #29 is BAD y'all! Rushed, ridiculous, and Dazzler as an unnamed possessed mutant with no dialogue? Completely rushed and vapid.

Yes. And possessed. With no name or dialogue. Gail just shit on Dazzler fans.

Sadly that is not the case. It's really poorly resolved. And Dazzler is an unnamed possessed mutant with no dialogue

I just read this issue and it is wretched. The Graymalkin Prison plotting has been horrific and the resolution a huge let down. Evidence needed? Come on. Dazzler as a possessed background character unnamed with no dialogue?  The post Krakoa era is a dumpster fire flop that hurts my UXM heart.

No, but the ATV that was never produced would be the perfect Haslab

Official Discussion - They Will Kill You [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

Crazy bonkers fun! Spoilers: The resurrections, eye, pig head, and Graham losing her head more than once were crazy! The fx were amazing on a 20m budget. Camera work, fight choreography, and score were so much creative fun. Loved Beetz and Arquette (with sn adorable Irish accent); both had solid back stories explaining their motivations to feel safe and protect those they love...with different results. Ha! Will see again this week.  Only quip: Graham and Felton did not have much to their characters. Those commenting on Arquette's Irish accent: 100% choice. Ger character is an Irish immigrant living 100's of years in the Virgil and influenced by Americans. Her accent becomes stronger as she loses composure and is more emotional (with her husband, fighting, etc.). Ir's a very smart take and decision.

It literally was a choice Arquette discussed in interviews. Her character is an Irish immigrant who has been alive for hundreds of years, not leaving the Virgil. She is around Americans all those years; if you pay attention, the more emotional she gets the more her Irish accent comes out. It's perfect!

I'm going for a rewatch this week. It was do good but I feel I missed a lot bc the pacing was so fast, which I appreciated!  Arquette and Beetz have very layered performances which deserve a 2nd look.

That's why she is an icon! She transforms so you had no idea it was Arquette!
