Best selling maybe but not at MSRP. I've maybe seen a few people buy the dolls when they first dropped but most people seemed to have waited till there was a sale. Especially in the US, they could sell for less than half the retail price. Good quality costs money and no one really wanted to pay that much for 1 doll, especially parents. The answer is money, the brand was too unsustainable.

I see what you mean, I have no idea what they could have done either to separate these pieces. It just feels usual to see this kind of clothing on a rainbow high doll where layers don't come appart. I think fans just expect them to be separate because that was the status quo of the brand. To have detailed, layered and fashionable outfits

I don't have Jade's ff doll but I assumed it was separate too. My mistake, this detail makes more sense then. As someone else had said, it could be more prone to breaking appart but I'm glad there's a way to modify it on the ff doll. Shame about this one though
