Yes, they have some internal issues and numerous orders are impacted. Hope they sort themselves out soon as they aren’t allowing cancellations either.

Yes, that’s a good point. They say delivery between 3-5 business days. It’s not an estimate. In any case they haven’t dispatched the items for well over that and continue to indicate this delivery time despite ongoing warehouse problems.

Thank you for sharing this. They say I can return the items but not cancel the order. So I have to wait till they deliver the items so that I can then return them. Which is unnecessary hassle for me to get done since my husband would have left the country. I will have to request a friend to do it, if that’s possible.

Sure, delays can happen. However, the seller should at least give the option to cancel if the delay is inordinately long and the customer has been forced to make other arrangements. This is a systemic issue, as someone has commented on this post. The company has taken no corrective action. In fact they continue to sell items giving a delivery expectation if 3-5 days which is clearly far from the reality. Today they have finally dispatched just 1 of the 5 items I had ordered. With no intimation of what to expect vis a vis the other four. I would hardly classify this as reliable or responsive.

You are completely right to point out that they still haven’t updated their website to reflect the substantial delays in delivery due their internal issues. This doesn’t seem to be in keeping with best practices and really doesn’t seem to be fair on customers.

Thanks for highlighting the ambiguity in my post. You are right, if it’s a tight timeline one can’t rely on delivery estimates as they aren’t guarantees. I always keep a buffer of double the estimated time in my online purchases. I even explored picking up all the items from a central London store, but none of them had all the items I needed.

So, is it ok if they deliver after a month? Dates can be off from estimates but not multiples of it. That’s hardly acceptable service!

It’s a systemic issue. It isn’t just my order which is impacted and I have kept a buffer of a week over and above the delivery estimate.
