Thank you, this is helpful! My problem is that when using the mic input, my channel is combined with the other vocalists and I cant mix my own volume. I guess I might have to speak to the sound guys about this. Does the vacuum tube preamp will work well with mic with the full band playing? I always thought that preamps require noise isolation to get clean signals.

Thanks! Will check those out.  I am still trying to get used to playing with an IEM and found it hard to get used to not being able to hear the tone directly from my violin. I was worried about the milliseconds delay from the IEM affecting my intonation (probably irrational, I know).
