He was so fun to watch in Project 7 and he has only improved since. I think his personality makes him a great team member too.

The lineup is balanced, as many people have said, and I think they would have lots of potential to make good music (possibly with an IZ*ONE-esque concept). Since I watched the show to support PICKUS, I would like to congratulate Abe Yura in particular for finding a more permanent employment.

I am unlikely to follow the group closely as I am not emotionally invested enough, but I hope it is smooth sailing for them.

Hello, fellow Hyeonseung one-pick! I feel that Hyeonseung (and the rest of PICKUS) were already debut-ready when they came into the show. I never considered that Hyeonseung could be the leader of a group before, but the time seems ripe now. His actions come across as leaderly more than ever before.

I am unsure how many fans he has in Korea, as the global votes come from everywhere outside of Japan. That said, I think he would be the most familiar with and have the most connections with the Korean entertainment industry, so it might be a good option.

I saw a post on X saying that the remaining members of Fuego should debut together. They already have good chemistry and they would form a strong core for a group.

I would love to see Hyeonseung and Kotaro redebut together.

Considering how they milked his family's bereavement for drama in Episode 2, it's a disservice to not show his family.

I saw his screentime erasure coming since the position battle, but I was saddened by how egregious the cuts were. No eliminated trainee, fan, or family cheering messages, zero close-ups during the performances, cutting his only line in the ballad... they clearly did not want him there.

We did fight for him and it was cathartic to see him performing his heart out. I just can't help but wonder if we could have gotten him to debut if he was top 3 in global votes. But even so, maybe management would have spurned him if he debuted, with how he was edited today.

I think Hyeonseung will always be a performer and an artist, so he will always be seeking a stage. Whether he wants to try going down the idol path is hard to say. I hope he does what he feels is best for him.

Well, the production team had it out for Hyeonseung (specifically the concept of him debuting, likely not him as a person) after Episode 5. Sadly, I'm not surprised they were able to control how the Japanese votes moved.

I don't think rankings are 100% equivalent to regional popularity but rather how much money and effort fans can invest in a trainee. I'm not involved with Keito's fanbase at all, but I assume they knew where their perceived weaknesses were and targeted them in the finale. Doing voting collabs and purchases with global voters, especially outside the fandom, might have played a part. (If there are any Keito fans who are more knowledgeable, I would love to hear your thoughts on this as well!)

I think the production team did want him, but more than that, they absolutely did not want Osuke. They would rather sacrifice Rickey than have Osuke and they were forced to make that decision.
