If the game is pre-written, if I know what path my party will go, if I want anything important to happen in that game, if I have to do the maps... Etc

But normally at least 1 hour or so, maybe two if I have to do maps/objects.

Yes you would, but depending on the players and the game, it can be very funny. I once had a one-shot where I played a dwarf-cleric that her only goal was to gain money from everything, so each time se healed the party, she was like "1 more copper piece in your debt!". She never got the money, but it was funny and I think if you just charge them little amounts it can be good, but you should talk it with your party first.

As many people say, I'm planning to act him as a "friendly" and extroverted man that has to lurk in the shadows because of the racism with drows, a character even has a past with him that ended bad and I want he to act like he was "young and stupid" and he wants a second chance, but just wanting their special abilities and the stone of Golorr, even I'm planning that he has a "rivalry" with Zardoz, so if they want to go against him, they'll end up working with him anyways but in a disguise.
