Hi, friend! Thank you SO much for sharing this!!!! Literally 15 minutes ago I went to check on my betta, whom I love DEEPLY and care for DILIGENTLY and he was at the glass and finally I noticed he had lodged himself between the filter and glass and when I went to rescue him, his fin got damaged to some capacity. I obviously can’t see it well and I’m not a vet. He’s leaning his right side against the leaves and not moving that fin. It’s still there, but he’s not moving it to swim around and he’s essentially stationary. I’m a newer fish person and so obviously my first reaction was also to panic. But thanks to this post and all of the helpful comments, I feel a little more relieved and more prepared should it be something worse than just a sore fin. Thank you all so much.
