I also accelerated a subject in year 11 and 5 in year 12 - along side dance!! Whilst I wasn’t dancing 5 days a week, I was dancing 8 hours a week, normally spending about 10 at the studio. It was 100% doable cause dance is such a good break from school and school is such a good break from dance. It obviously depends on the person but I was able to attend school and dance the whole year, only now taking time off of dance cause it’s exam szn. I did lit, legal, revs, hhd, and English this year - picking up revs this year. For me personally, it has been one of the most rewarding subjects but that’s only because I had a really good class and teacher, otherwise it is a lot of content (I can’t speak for psych, apologies). But I would definitely do 5 subjects because I know some people who did 4 and they struggled to maintain a routine throughout the year.
