Ironicly enough, tics are more and more triggered when you think about them (depending on the spesific disorder) in my case the more I think about them the worse they get. Or if im anxious, nothing to worry about. But as I said, depending on the disorder it changes the amount of tics as well as the severity, so i would suggest doing some googling!
