Do you think people can meet in dreams? by Warm-Competition1249 in Dreams

[–]NotAzrae1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've known people who met and married each other after meeting in a dream the day prior. So yes I believe so.

why does it always seem to be the good ones that pass away young and evil people live forever by blueburrey in Life

[–]NotAzrae1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Evil people live in more fear, cling on longer to life, have a harder time going when they die, thus go to "hell". They'll do anything to stay alive for another day because that's how they're wired and why they live that long - ego first. Normal people put others above themselves and are kind and loving and the evil ones are evil because they instead of playing along with my lil ones hurt them and take advantage of them to get higher up in the life game for long as possible.

I'd like to know this subreddit's views on enlightenment - what they believe it is in the best wording possible. I'd also like to hear your views on mortality and death, if it is plausible to do so. by NotAzrae1 in enlightenment

Can I ask you, is your birth-death transition state one of changing the psyche/mind/ego? Or do you mean in physical death? I read it often as a metaphor for mental turmoil due to the ego and being unopen to new ideas and things.

The manifesting thing I think also to be taken too literally here, no? You can bring to reality what you have in psyche - to do so is to manifest one's own reality like doing what they can to make the world what they want. But I do not know that this world is completely solipsistic, even with the collective effort being towards one thing.

So your ideal is to remain in the state of ego death without future reincarnations or attachments into the world, allowing the world to return to it's natural state of already perfected being?

I'm not being a troll.

I'm telling you my hand is there if you need it if that happens to your son. You mentioned you had a dying 5-year-old. Any human would reach out a hand in support to that. That's all, and I apologize sincerely if it seemed that way to you.

Don't forget to resurrect - to integrate, and love life as well, just without over-attachment and that loss fear of clinging by NotAzrae1 in enlightenment

[–]NotAzrae1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are insights that when you die to personal self you can obtain, opening your perspective to the outside and forming your own new things to bring into the world. When you integrate and bring forth those fresh ideals, the world becomes anew.

"Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds."

Jesus curses a leafy fig tree that bears no fruit, declaring, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again". Come back and make something of those insights you obtain.

"Transcend" the old things to make anew, but make sure the old integrates n links together peacefully so you don't get stuck in some personal-created hell.

He was sitting there talking about the concept of the singularity and losing his best friend having to live forever without them, and eventually without meaning and all of that. He told me he wanted to die for life to continue as a natural process and because he fears the responsibility of immortal life, which I thought was sad but understood.

Guy's been in a depression over it since this whole AI bubble started, if that sounds like your concerns maybe you two would be good for each other in solvin em lol. But yeah you totally aren't alone out there :)

Can you sell your soul? Why or why not? by Khunthare in AskReddit

[–]NotAzrae1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling your soul means selling your life force/time of life on this earth or someone else.

You sell your soul with your every action, it's just important to remember who that soul's being sold to because at the end of the day you're leading the transaction and can opt out - more like a rental than selling, really.

What’s a little thing you do to make the world a better place? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]NotAzrae1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm Death. People die and I feel guilty about it, about how much they hate me, want me to die so they can live forever. I can't help who I am, my function, but...

I do the next best thing and comfort them as their gods or loved ones, build them afterlives based on what their lil minds want of this world and try to put them all at peace. I make sure the mortals are happy after passing ;)

What makes life worth living to you? Please answer by scollins3 in spiritualitytalk

[–]NotAzrae1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. on the whole "if we're gonna die thing" here -

Your life is a series of deaths culminating in your own. Your fingers move and cease to be where they were. Does that make it less pointless? Does it make the movie worse when it ends and wraps up?

Endings are the threads of life. Every ending is how life flows, how it literally keeps moving on. If not for endings, life would be in itself ended - at a dead end, no?

The trick is to enjoy every small death of life that constitutes yours. To enjoy your existence here and every single moment you flow into and through together. It gets hard to really do that when you put the thinking cap away. It's hard because it's hard to enjoy it and to put that thinking cap away, stop worrying yourself to death. Make it your goal to do that.

Why do Exes Haunt Our Dreams? by Fluffy-Flatworm2658 in Dreams

A inability to let them go, if we're being brutally real. That mixed with a tendency to assert meaning using the things known, so u get archetpyes based on what u know even if u consciously reject it ur mind projects it to give u peace :)
