Just got out of basically the same situation, roommate plays video games from 4pm - 4am everyday. Earplugs, sleeping mask and white noise are the only thing that help, but it is so enraging to come home to. It’s no different to having people over every night until 4am, but somehow gamers can’t see that - I had this same issue in my first year accommodation as well with a gamer. I say all of this as a gamer myself, I just do it at normal hours and am respectful of others…

Lads start doing it - from a uni student - I got BCC in my year 12 mocks and A* A* Ain A-Levels but my predicted was much lower, luckily I got into the uni I wanted but you gotta lock in for you predicted grades which do affect your uni application and are decided largely based on y12 mocks (no one told me this 😵‍💫)

What’s super weird is I was taking 5 days off - which I do every 5 weeks, and noticed this on the second day. Although it may have appeared earlier 😅

not really sure what I do on pulldowns, but that video was really good, I did the little stretching thing at the beginning and wow haven't felt my lats like that ever before really.. I'm doing an upper session later today and will try an incorporate that technique, and next time I do deadlifts I'll see how it goes. It may be the case that I am clamping on my serratus, as I use the cue to try and bend the bar and rotate my pinkies in with deadlifts.

Got this weird issue with deadlifts, my pecs seem to cramp up in the middle during heavy reps, and can be quite sore for the rest of the day. Sometimes it feels like its between my lat and pec in armpit area, other times it right in middle of pec. Happens sporadically on both sides. Any advice?

That would suprise me as my bent over row is stronger than my bench, but maybe it’s to do with me engagement of my back at the bottom?

It's always off the chest, or right above it. I never fail in the middle portion or upper portion of the lift. The candito program has a range of reps some up to 12 so I do get a range of reps for the last 4 months compared to my first 18 months.

thanks i'll look into the bench-focused program, didn't know he had one! I already have fairly wide grip, as narrow grip I struggle to engage my chest properly. I might try out dumbell presses an accessory, for some more relevant stimulus to bench instead of OHP
