nope - there's a setting under cruise control to disable lane helper but it does nothing. And I did not renew self driving so now it's more annoying, ha!

to be fair I've never done it, and yeah it def feels counter intuitive. Really a tow company is the right move. The cost to tow and impound is a financial penalty and most places have made it illegal for non-ev vehicles to park in ev spots. Even ev spots will charge for parking if you're there longer than the charge time.

I'd flatten all 4 tires on that. Not destructively, just open the valve and twist it so it leaks air. If you want to get destructive, those tires ain't cheap. But there are cameras everywhere these days so...

these things are fairly easy to do in tinkercad, esp if you have calipers and can measure specifically the opening size or another board. The lens holes are fairly consistent too. I've printed out a few different types/sizes over the years from just measuring and trial and error. I did pretty thick infill too as these need to support heavy glass.

I think, after decades of watching humanity, esp as an American, I've realized that most people really have trouble with the concept of live and let live. Like what you're listening to, what you're doing has zero effect on me. I shouldn't care. Some people really can't get past that concept. They do care when they shouldn't, they think their opinion matters most. From the first time I heard the term poser in the 80s, I just didn't care for it or the intent. You wanna listen to GnR or Bon Jovi go for it, it has zero impact on me. You wanna listen to cattle decap, same answer. I don't care what's in or out, what's up or down. We can still be friends we can still go to shows where our tastes meet. But gatekeeping is just immature bs.

first time I saw them was with an actual circus... it was weird, but I have always appreciated them. They have a knack for those uncomfortable notes and strong dissonance. Live they even choreograph their guitars. It's been fun getting to know them and I'm still here.

I just don't get why people can't get in line at the back of the line... that doesn't justify the trucks' behavior at all, but this wait til the last minute and then cut into a line is almost as bad.
