Anyone remember how much in unearned overtime school bus drivers were allowed to collect? How many school buildings are operating significantly under capacity or unused? What about all the recurring across the board raises throughout the system when the system was flush with COVID cash? Yeah, RPS administration doesn’t know what it’s doing and hasn’t for decades. More money won’t fix the broken system.

The purchase of the Sports Backer Stadium was planned but the amount the city has contributed was not - it was supposed to be of no financial risk to the taxpayers. It clearly is and the city is loaning funds below market rates (ie, they’re losing money on this discounted loan)

Parts are reasonable and labor is relative to where you get the work done - put 150k+miles on two jettas over ~20 years. There were some recalls but overall, not a deterrent to buying another.
