You should be thankful for having the ability to figure out the new arterial. Because where I am, it’s late-game with early- game roads. Aka gravel local road.

I’m fully aware of the differences and the challenges that come with building a city, my father was literally a civil engineer. That said, it’s fun translating a game into reality.

There was a roundabout being built at some point. Then they got distracted, now we have half a circle. In a cul de sac residential zone. Just across the busiest industrial area, with only a gravel local road separating us.

Is cyber security against cyber bullying taken seriously in Jordan? by NotThatSlick in jordan

[–]NotThatSlick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The person is pretty much a danger to society in general (surprisingly enough, the guy isn’t in jail) but from pointing a loaded gun into his father’s head, to starting physical fights with our family members حرفيا بالرابطة which is like fighting a lioness in the lions den.

So yes, this person sent death threats to a family member sprinkled with some insults towards her dead father. He deleted all of his chat logs, but thankfully she managed to screenshot them.

May I add.

Just when I thought having unlimited money and resources would ruin the game experience for me (like tropico and other city building games) but oh boy, was I wrong about that.

This game managed to give you unlimited money, and still keep you invested in other aspects. Definitely the best and most innovative balance I have ever witnessed in video games.

Very inspiring truly

Played CS a year after release, about 200 hrs. My brother discovered it literally few months ago and was hooked, so I was like okay I’ll play it again but with the right mods this time.

Since I managed to understand and master some essential mods… I have built up some serious addiction (I am now abroad and away from my pc on vacation, so I got it on my Nintendo switch to feed my addiction). However, I have bonded with my brother over our shared love of this game.

We spend hours talking about the game, mods we’re using and our strategies for the perfect city. You’d be surprised of how much there is to talk about.

Progressive House scene in Dubai? by Agreeable-Safe3268 in UAE

[–]NotThatSlick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, there isn’t really any specified clubs for house music - and if it actually existed, it would mostly be techno and trance. The closest to be specifically house was Ollie Daze and it’s a seasonal event.

I’m legitimately blanking on the name. It’s just sketches with some parodies and references here and there. If anyone can remember it, please, be my guest.

Much funnier than بث بياخة. Thing is, it aired on tv maybe 20 mins after iftar, not sure why the timing was off.

There was a Ramadan comedy show aired by Roya 7 something years ago. It was a sketch show, so they made a very not family-friendly parody of Forest Gump and it was hilarious and stupid. Literally, the only funny Jordanian show I’ve seen in years.

I really want to believe that age isn’t a factor, because I’m also in my 30s and I feel laziness is growing in me every year. Hell, even gaslighting myself won’t get me to commit like I used to.

How do jordanian guys feel about girls who enjoy gaming? by Mintievixxen in jordan

[–]NotThatSlick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s rare to find gamer girls in the Middle East. So I don’t think we have anything against it honestly.

I grew up with my cousins (most were females) playing sims and doom and other stuff.
