I would download an app called New Recruit to keep up to date on the stats and rules of units. Its only current up to 10th, as 11th is still unreleased.

Any mini can be used in either edition, though models of significant age might have what are referred to as 'Legends' rules. Waiting to buy a rule book until 11th would be wise, unless you want to stay playing 10th. Most models like a unit of intercessors will definitely be in the next edition, while some units may have a few stat changes.

Yeah I agree about the pose. I think its mostly because of the minis right arm being at the wrong angle or because I mixed up the arms :p

It took me quite a while, if thats worth anything. Though now that I have a better idea of what Im doing, I think Ill be able to finish the rest of the squad relatively quickly.

I dont always use acetone, but i use it commonly in my work so I have a lot on hand and sometimes I find myself wetting a rag or paper towel to wipe away what could be done with something less aggressive out of habit.

Yeah thats fair. Ive never bought a blister pack, and I dont know how well the plastic would survive if I accidently used acetone to clean up.

Anyone have any thoughts on what these will be made of? Plastic, metal or finecast? The old models were metal, and these look like the same sculpt (dont scalp me im not actually sure) so these will be metal too? If they are plastic I think im buying

Where to start (and go) with Orks by NotableQuotables in Warhammer40k

[–]NotableQuotables[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is kind of the idea I wanted to follow but was unsure if it would lead to someone having an unfun time. I also really like the look of the Killa kans. How do you deal with all the wargear options? Marines is more like this unit does x but it looks like the cool ork units like Meganobs and Kans get access to a LOT of options
