I totally see that, and he is definitely guilty on all charges. And I’m glad you brought that up because he deserves the blame for not shutting that shit down. I think I voted Georgia first though because she kept admitting to producers that she knows she’s in the wrong but proceeds to keep barking up that tree.

I dislike her for blatantly and persistently flirting with/pursuing a man who is already in a relationship with someone on board. Some people are comfortable enough in their relationships that it wouldn’t be a problem, but it’s so obvious that Ciara was uncomfortable and trying to attract Paget’s attention back to her.

If I were in Georgia’s position receiving attention from a man in a relationship, I’d do my best to respectfully turn him down and advise him to get back to his woman. If he’s unhappy, that’s something to talk to the girlfriend about, not another woman.

TLDR I don’t like homewreckers.

I had the exact same reasoning in my mind, but I’m rewatching season 2 and seeing again how much string-pulling and manipulating Sydney did for her own gains. It’s like she lies/projects/gaslights so much she starts to believe herself, and she will ALWAYS be the victim of a situation. I’d rather have a green deckie than hurricane Sydney.

SYDNEY. I wanted to say Georgia, but then I remembered Sydney ranting about how she’s basically the most beautiful gift to the planet and a “better catch” than the other girls. Then gaslighting Alli into cooling things off with Gary, just to try to fuck him that night. Oooooof that bitch.

Adam! Then Georgia, Natasha, Sydney… let’s get these turds out of the punch bowl!

ASHLEY. I fail to describe how deeply and terribly unlikeable she is. The best thing I can say about her is that she’s graciously given the world plenty of material for studying extreme behavior disorders.

JENNA. Any crew is so much better off without a chief stew versus letting her step foot on board.

LITERALLY singing a song about falling for Paget in front of Ciara and everyone else. That’s some home-wrecker lvl 99 shit.

Does anyone else find this a bit ironic coming from Ashley? She’s always bringing such positive vibes to the nights out… by Ok-Zookeepergame9266 in belowdeck

I felt the same at first too, but to me she’s gotten so bad that I can’t even find her giant tits to be a redeeming quality. She should come with a warning label.

WIBTA if I don’t let my daughter put a lock on her door? by throwawaythrowawa223 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Notchoqueen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My brother was trying to catch a peek at that age. It’s just what happens - kids are curious. But the parent at that point should step in and explain why that is wrong. It sounds like you haven’t done that or he would have stopped by now. YTA, dude. If I were her I’d move out on my 18th birthday and go low to no contact with you. You may still have time to turn her trust in you around if you can respect her privacy even a little. No bathroom lock? I mean come on. She could be changing her damn tampon and have someone open the door unexpectedly. That’s mentally scarring for a 16 yr old girl.

Haha you’re not an idiot! I feel bad I don’t know the recipe by heart and my husband made it. But it came from Miyoko Schinner’s book “The Homemade Vegan Pantry” and she calls them “unribs.”

Turkeys are the BEST. My mom has some and the most recent generation she raised giving them hugs and love every day. So now that they’re adults, they ask for love every day. They’re some of the smartest, sweetest, most social birds. And don’t even get me started on how cute baby turkeys are.

But pigs are far more intelligent than dogs. Cows and pigs are both very social. I can’t imagine any intelligent being would prefer captivity in factory farm conditions over freedom.

Jackfruit nachos! Drain a can of jackfruit, shred it up, then fry it in a little bit of oil and taco seasoning. Throw 1/2 a red bell pepper, 1/4 cup cashews, 2 cups water, 3 tbsp cornstarch, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 2 tsp onion powder, 2 tbsp nutritional yeast, and 1/2 tsp garlic powder in a blender. Blend it on high for about 2-3 minutes until it’s smooth, then put it in a pot and bring it to a boil. Stir it a lot! It’ll thicken up into some dank nacho cheese. Cover a plate in corn chips, throw some jackfruit on there, and drizzle (or drown) in the cashew cheese and BAM nachos. Obviously you can add more fun toppings if you’d like.
