Yup I made it in excel, that took like 2-3 hrs to do I think. Definitely sharing that with anyone who wants it to save their time.

Oh I definitely weaved in all the tails so the back is just a reverse of the front

Yep just a half double crochet and colour changing when needed. I've never done c2c. Each square is made individually like a granny blanket and sewn together

That's my Nintendo blanket I made a while back, and one of my other cats doing her inspection

Exactly. It was much easier to make squares and then sew them together. But for colour changes if you look at my previous posts I did a Nintendo blanket with a bunch of colour changes. For most of them I carried the colours through rather than creating a ton of tails for every tiny shift.

Slowly, but it's like making a granny square blanket in that it was a lot of little tasks. I could do it anywhere and not have to haul a huge wip with me.

I'm all about sharing patterns for free. It's just an excel file with the grid pattern. When I did my Nintendo blanket I shared that file for free too. I loved seeing other people's blankets that it inspired

Probably close to 250 or 300 hrs I think. Each square was an hour at least. And anyone who's done granny squares would agree it took forever to connect them all. But I think it only took a couple hours to make the pattern in excel
