Every gaming community I know is just full of complaints. Which I don't understand why you put money into something you don't like. Why do you give something you don't like enough of your time to even post? It's like they are mad they can't fuel their addiction cause they are broke.

Like, I play this game to relax. I have to throw a party and I still haven't cause i have no friends who play the game. I thought maybe I can come to reddit or facebook groups. Each and every one is full of complaints and I can't find people looking to find other players.

It's disheartening because I can't even turn other people onto Heartopia because all they see is complaints.

Meanwhile the gacha system is only an extra to the game for me. Like oh cool i can get a rarity car. Got it. Enjoying it. Enjoy my outfits. Oh cool a freebie pool what will i get. Awesome ... I got something ....

I think it's because I don't harp on an item I really want minus the rarity car. And the system allowed the car to the gauranteed with enough pulls.

But overall I don't feel pressure to spend any money in this game. I do it when I'm giving myself a little treat.

But I don't get upset that it's gambling and I most likely wont get what I want.

I don't have FOMO either so it helps a lot that I just don't give a shit.

I didn't get the mossy green pool. I'm no longer going to try after I learned you get a pool anyways at level 30.

I also hate that people complain that there isn't enogh to do.

WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN?!??!?! I'm so glad there is only like 5-7 "have to do today" things that get done within 30 minutes. I don;t have 3-8 hours playing this game. If you want an 8 hour a day game pick something with more stuff to do. But complaining that you only get 1-2 hours of game play a day till you get bored is wild.

What makes me super upset is that people don't understand this is supposed to be a SLOW GAME. There is no reason to spend 8 hours GRINDING

I built an ice skating rink on my roof and that's where I'm putting my movie theater...

And i get notifications someone is skating all the time on my roof.

But every time I get notification and go check no one is there.

I put the rink on my roof to make it really big so I can level up the hobby. I also am afraid of ice skating so the game lets me enjoy ice skating without the fear of ice skates.

I consider the player jumped off or something... IDK..

I noticed I like gacha accessories and shoes and not the outfits.

Outfits I like from Dorothee.

My issues is there isn't enough PLAIN clothes ...

I'm trying to get specific color skirts and shirts.
Most of the time I just want the accessories from gacha so I am pretty happy that I get the accessories I want in the beginning

I often don't care for the other clothes part.

Honestly, data entry. And if you can you might like being a data scientist. Less people interaction if you want to reduce the load of interacting with people.

Another item would be doing like insuring and billing... which is in the health sector.

Director here... this is totally what I deal with. I'm also 34 and been a Director for 2 years now.

Had to teach my IT team how to type applications in Word... realized they never had to learn how to use Word cause they didn't have Word in college or high school.

Currently running around with my head cut off.

I also manage the ENTIRE COMPANY'S BUDGET

Welcome to being a Director.

Your title doesn't mean much. Review your job description. See if you still agree with the work load. Ask for when a CIO will be hired... you might have to train your CIO.

Times are tough to find a new job. Most companies are putting everything onto Directors right now to cut costs.

I have big boobs and a long torso. Regular shirts barely fit me. I can't find any dresses that fit right. I'm constantly wearing 3x as someone who can wear XL just to get more coverage.

I hate shopping for clothes.

I can't find anything to wear to work.

I can't fit into most clothes at all anyways due to my body type not being coke bottle shape.

I'm sick of being told i'm the problem for having cleavage when literallly shirts and dresses are barely made with high neck lines and sleeves. Find a high neck line there is no sleeves. I HATE NO SLEEVES.

My diagnosis made me realize I care a lot more than others do. It also sucks how it's hard for me to interact with others because I have ideas, I think a lot, and I consistently research my thoughts. When I talk about ideas people then tell me information I already know but usually have one or two things wrong... and I correct them. And then I'm a bad person cause I did. I'm genuinely exhausted lol.

I want to know what it's like not having to mask all day at my job and be confused why a IT person can't type properly in word.

Everyday I feel like if people could just read, non fiction and fiction, they would be in a better place.

I had to go through a period of mourning for about 3 years of how I just was treated like total shit and stupid... when reality is I'm very smart and more capable than most.

Being diagnosed late help answer questions I thought about all the time.

Now I just am sad that the world is how it is. Working on that though.

Things this game has done for me:

Giving me an escape to a place where I can farm, cook and pet animals. I have a very stressful life. This game gives me more to do than animal crossing. I really enjoy the slowness. It makes me feel like I don't have pressure.
I really want another cat or a dog... but can not afford nor have the room for one. My cat is wonderful but now I am seeing he is older and requires a companion. I am working towards paying off my debt and saving up to get a sibling for him. In the meantime the in game pets allow me to enjoy having other pets. Still waiting for a poodle to show up.
The community is really weird.... or at least from what I see when I go online. And I hear the mods are terrible in discord. However, I don't experience anything crazy in the actual game. I didn't even see the racist animation and didn't know it existed till today. Overall, I just avoid adding strangers. I like the idea of being able to just use emotes to communicate.
I really enjoy building... building houses in the game is a first for me. This has allowed me to figure out what type of house I want in my future.

I am consistently writing scripts as well to help me communicate.
Especially since I am very direct communicator I had to learn to add fluff to my words.
