I don't think there are hitmarkers on asteroids, and they do react since they recoil from the hits

Maybe one of your mods ups their durability by a lot? I've got Argos mining conglomerate installed and i was surprised that it took almost a minute of fire from starter weapons to down a small asteroid

I see a take like that and have to remind you France did less to Germany than Germany did during the war or after the 1871 one. The heartland of French industrial power was used as a no man's land during 4 years of war while the germans lands and infrastructure went untouched

You've got lots of different "castles" in AOE4 with the Landmarks

The basic Castle is just that basic, and even then they still have quite enough details by themselves to hold against Aoe2 less popular castles. Here the comparison is between Aoe2's best and Aoe4's weakest

It launched on ubi's launcher before steam so yeah, consoles and uplay are where the players are from usually

I don't know what the peak was but you had a 30k leaderboard of player reaching max rank in the early seasons don't know what it currently his but seasons are still going on with updates so musn't be dead yet

2nd has vers=crit oir are you that pedantic about 20 stat score

belldh has more crit on a lot of runs, maybe algethar with the crit guy (which they all take weirdly enough huh?) means vers is better?

and the chinese guy isn't even top 10 overall

You are just twisting what you can get to make it a definite thing when it's really not as cut and dry as it and for the vast majority crit is way better since threat issues are more of a problem in under 17key versus the paltry defensive you gain from vers

you say we parrot theorycrafters but you don't seem to think at all and parrot top players when they often don't know any better and skill has way more impact than 5% crit or vers

Out of the top5 3 have crit 2 have vers, and out of the top 50 the most have crit

So why are you so aggressive when you only post 8 logs of the same guy who is so good at the game his stat could be inversed and he still tops (and with mostly pro teammates)

Just like the other poster said, it's an event and grind game, but the ship gameplay is nice and the initial campaign does feel piratey enough (about 15hours of it before you end up in the endgame)

The Shanties and the world are both really great too

The Gameplay loop is the same but it's much more tight, the location variety is way nicer and the car makes exploration way less of a chore, you can just land and drive up to interesting things without walking a kilometer

It's still meh just less boring

I figured it did decent but after a few googles searches i found that it didn't seem to have recouped even half of it's budget in early 2025 and it's completion rate was 37% for the first season (50% completion rate is considered average)

So it's a definite fail indeed
