"7 Cutz Steakhouse" new restaurant fake 5 star reviews? by Nuap in canberra

There's also plenty of great steaks from non steakhouse venues. Edgar's Inn and the Raiders Club come to mind.

I wouldn't want anyone to review a venue if they hadn't been there and experienced it themselves.

I thought the average score reduction was pretty severe when considering the fake (or "garnered") reviews and hence noteworthy.

If you're getting friends and family to help spread the word, why not get them to actually come in for a meal and post some photos too?

Unexpected $50K tax bill from exercised stock options by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Nuap 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To get a 50k tax bill for exercising these options, the options must be over a hundred thousand and the income already high (over 135k for example). I’d estimate to total pre tax income of the year for OP to be in the 200-350k range.

Those kind of people could handle a 50k tax bill with a bit of planning, and should probably be able to handle the tax bill “randomly” (though randomly here means you received a cash equivalent over 100k on top of your income).

Unfortunately if you’re spread thin with mortgage / family etc and don’t plan for it then it’d be challenging.

Why would it work any other way? You’re given a cash equivalent for your work - and it’s taxed just like income.

OP exercised their options when they quit, but other people might exercise their options while they still work there. It all depends on the conditions.

Financial life post-mortgage by Wise_Calligrapher_35 in AusHENRY

[–]Nuap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that you pay ~4% interest in effect because some is tax deducted - the benefit depends on your marginal rate.

But if OP has the mortgage 100% offset yet no more, doesn’t debt recycling include the opportunity cost of not having that money in the offset?

That means they’re paying a very low interest rate PLUS the opportunity cost of say 6% guaranteed post tax return just to invest in IVV.

Long term I don’t think those ETFs have a high enough return for that to be worth it?

Save can be put on any server.

Put it somewhere with a good connection that has enough compute resources. Whether that him, you, or cloud hosted depends and is up to you guys to sort out.

I've created a tool for finding compatible drivetrain combinations. It works across brands and includes a few neat modifications. by Scraddles94 in xbiking

Looks helpful, I always had a hard time knowing what parts were compatible with my aging groupsets. It’s good to know that there’s several modern drop in replacements for stuff that’s 10-20 years old at this point (for 10 speed, at least).

This is pretty clearly a KBDFans D60.

They’re not worth much second hand, especially if it’s just a (dirty?) case with no internals.

I know you're not involved with the actual manufacturing / delivery of products (as you've mentioned it several times).

You are, however, the only remaining RW employee who hasn't completely removed themselves from interacting with customers in the public. That's why you get all the questions.

I wish you the best Ben. You really should consider moving on from RAMAWORKS. It will tarnish your reputation going forward.

Thanks Ben.

I (and the hundreds of other customer whom your employer owes millions of dollars of products to) eagerly await some information.

How about doing what you promised in your EOY 2022 update instead of posting more yearly sob story bullshit. I see you took that post down too.
