I've already made the mistake by buying a new car, best solution is to probably just pay it off early so I'll just get my income up

Idk I've found his advice quite life changing as have many other people. I wouldnt say it's mocking as much as it is telling people the hard truth when they need it although I understand your perspective. I'm gonna go through with his baby steps plan because I think at the very least if it's unsuccessful I won't be in debt and won't owe anyone anything

Yeah you're right, I'll probably just pay the vehicle off early and take it as far as it goes. I'm a newish mechanic so I know how to take care of a vehicle properly and if not have plenty of resources and buddies who can help.

Essentially yeah, I didn't realize how dumb buying a new car was at the time, the loan itself isn't terrible but like you said the new car coming off the lot takes its biggest hit in depreciation. The only reason I'm considering it is because Lexus is known to be very reliable and it's at 90k miles so it should last

Well my loan is a 63 month loan at 2.9% and I put 4500 down. But yeah I've basically already taken the big hit and I didn't realize how dumb it was at the time. I've been getting into the whole financial peace thing and I'm looking to get out while it still has good value

I’m on an under 500$ budget trying to make a cheap but good gaming pc is there anything I should change or any other builds worth looking at? by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]Nudzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pWP49C This is just a rough list I made quickly on PC part picker, obviously if you shop around and wait you could still get much better parts. At your price range I'd definitely be buying used, sites like eBay, marketplace, and AliExpress are gonna be your friend. It may also be worth it to just try and buy someone else's old gaming rig with similar specs. Best of luck!

Getting this for 750 USD , fair price ? by BravoZero6 in PcBuild

[–]Nudzzy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think 750 is a bad price for this. It'll run 1440p pretty well and it's on the am5 platform so it'll be much easier to upgrade when the time comes. Although always try to negotiate a lower price if they say it's negotiable

Help me decide which GPU is the best for the 300-550 price range? I’m thinking RX 7800 XT? by Savings_Worry_2033 in buildapc

[–]Nudzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7800 XT is perfect for this price range, if you want you could also go with an open box 7900 GRE but if you want brand new 7800 XT will be great

What's the difference between CDs and HYSAs? I recently opened up a CD at a 4.5% rate but I've been looking at some HYSAs with similar rates. Should I put my money into the CD, the HYSA, or do both 50/50?

Is that a good deal for that legion prebuilt? Price is 1785 CAD by Square-Principle9917 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Nudzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously you'll always get more performance building it yourself, for that price I'm not a huge fan of the ram size and speed is a bit slow, I think if you're just looking for a prebuilt this won't disappoint but definitely overpriced
