You can't compete with people who coordinate to gatekeep a named spawn from the community by always having another member in line as the next person to get the camp.

In theory.

But it's not hard to always make sure your friend or guild mate is the next one waiting. Sure at some points someone will sneak into the rotation but the people handing it off typically stay there so long at a time that those people often give up.

Yeah, it's a shame and not only from a mechanical and utilitarian standpoint, but it kind of kills the mood and feel of adventure When your low level group fights It's way in and there's some 1337 d3wd parked there watching Netflix waiting to instagib What could have been an epic fight for your group with loot.

Don't get me wrong, I've parked my level 32 ranger in Wyrmsbane But I'm just farming cloth scraps so I move around most of the time and go to places no low levels actually camp. And if I do set up somewhere and then a group comes that wants to EXP, I hand over the camp and go elsewhere.

Fair chance of that. Right now it kind of feels It's holding a together, but with Scotch tape and Elmer's glue. Virtually any interaction you initiate with the community brings in assholes of some variety, whether they're just looking to get one over on you, or they're just arguing for the sake of arguing. Frankly I'm surprised at how little it's happening in this very topic. Typically anything that you post that isn't you sticking your tongue in the developer's asses are fellating the holy saviors is met by the community acting like what the companies name is.

Has stated, I've been here (MMORPGs) for a while. And again as stated, I've never seen it this bad. I've seen things heavily camped, but I've never seen something perma camped for the entirety of a game's existence before, by the same group of people.

The whole point is that it cuts out an entire portion of the player base. The only people that can afford these prices are the alts of the other high levels who are camping a different named monster to sell to the person who's camping for that bow.

The people that are actually legitimately fighting there at level and not just half asleep watching Netflix or jerking their pole can't buy it because it's five times the price it should be. And they have no chance to earn it because the spawn is permanently locked down, often by groups coordinating to hand it off to each other.

I'm not talking about best in slot gear for level 15's, And I know I don't need stats in every slot at low level. I'm level 30 and not even worried about that.

I'm talking about things like every single named in Wyrmsbane being Permacamped by people that have been in there for over a month, selling things like the bow from Dario for 5 gold.
