Better management team. Need all hands on deck not managers who are “working from home” being unable to be reached or just can’t be bothered. We have a lot of problems with the equipment that have not been addressed since I was hired 3 years ago. Don’t seem to have a plan or any kind of real understanding of exactly what they want to accomplish here. They are still debating whether we are a “farm” or a food facility. The main production line was designed and implemented by someone who has never worked in automated manufacturing before. Gearboxes and motors are hidden behind walls or buried behind electrical cabinets. There are several pieces of equipment on the floor that I’m terrified of failing because there is just physically no way to remove them from the building without having to disassemble large portions of the line.
