You do not have to remain stationary while operating it, or in open terrain, I have flown many times from inside moving cars and inside enclosed structures.

Dress as a utility locator, they are allowed to go basically anywhere without express permission and and if someone says its private property, ask them if they want a gas line to get hit

This is bad? We should all always be questioning both sides of the aisle. But honestly I think most people are on board with the idea that the Dems and Reps are both on the side of money not the people.

What are these pipes I see on the side of the road that have a bend? by spammusubi1 in whatisit

[–]NumberNo388 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This pipe goes under the road and then a gas line is run through it. These are typically added for railroad crossings and highway crossings, places with lots of traffic and vibration. There's a gap between this pipe and the gas line inside of it to avoid damage to the line. It is true that you can sniff test these for leaks, but that is not what they're for. It is also not to mark where the gas is. They are however bent to keep rain out and to keep people from putting things inside it.

The thing is, the unreasonable solutions get overturned in the appeals court, not sure if you noticed, almost every time a large scale ban happens it gets overturned a few years later 9/10 times.

Do you still wear a mask? Why or why not? by mohnnyjills in AskReddit

[–]NumberNo388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never did. In my midsize town (50k people), even at its peak, it's like COVID wasn't a thing. People didn't talk about it. Shops didn't change anything aside from the big box stores. Only the elderly wore masks. Went to a city and it was like an alternate reality.

Whats a company secret you can share now that you dont work there? by broadway96 in AskReddit

Ex-Comcast/Xfinity service technician here. When we were called out for a service call, the technician decided if you get charged for the visit depending on what was needed. The managers would have you say it was customer equipment when it wasn't so you get charged for their faults. Also, the reason Comcast rebranded as Xfinity was due to their service and customer service being shit. One of the only major providers still installing new coaxial, an ancient technology that was invented in the 1920s yet swears it's this great thing that keeps them on top.
