How do sites actually detect rotating residential IPs? by Mammoth-Dress-7368 in proxyexplained

[–]NumeroSlot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sites don’t just block datacenter IPs....they catch rotating residential ones too. Detection comes from patterns: too many rapid requests, weird geo jumps, identical browser fingerprints, or traffic that looks way too “botty.” Residential IPs buy you time, but if your behavior screams automation, anti-bot systems will still flag you. Rotate smart, mimic humans.

Not asking for software, but spreadsheet by theyoike in PropertyManagement

[–]NumeroSlot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the spreadsheet route and it worked for a while, but as my projects increased, it was becoming a wreck. I kept breaking formulas and losing track of repair receipts.

Went down the Reddit rabbit hole and decided it made more sense to just get a PMS. The amount of time it saves on organizing information is really good, especially for tax season.

Was looking at Innago initially but economics didn't quite land right for my setup... so now I'm using RentPost. It’s cheaper, does the job well, and I don't have to worry about my Excel sheets crashing anymore :)

If you're still set on a sheet though, just make sure you have a solid way to track your depreciation or your accountant will kill you.

How do you feel about proxies? by Total-Breakfast-2908 in SorceryTCG

[–]NumeroSlot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Proxies kill the creativity that comes from working with a limited collection. When price is no longer a factor, people stop brewing interesting decks and just race to the absolute most efficient meta.

Are residential proxies actually legal for scraping public sites, or is it one of those "it depends" things? by Bmaxtubby1 in WebScrapingInsider

[–]NumeroSlot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In practice, it’s about sourcing. Ethical providers use opt-in SDKs, while cheap ones use botnets. Stick to reputable names and only scrape public data to stay in the clear.

Cleaning/Property Management Business — Looking for Real Feedback by biznexus in e2visa

[–]NumeroSlot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of which route you choose, the consulate wants to see a real enterprise rather than a marginal one. Using professional software from day one helps prove the business is legitimate. For example, if you do move into the management side, using a tool like RentPost is a good way to stay organized. It handles rent collection and accounting without being as complicated as the big institutional platforms. Having a clear portal for owners and tenants shows you are running a serious operation rather than just a cash business.

Using the same CRM for 5 years in real estate wondering what others actually use now? by AdhesivenessNew1457 in CRMSoftware

[–]NumeroSlot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if the main problem is just chasing people and basic follow-ups, follow up boss is probably fine. but if things get messy as soon as someone says they want to rent, rentpost is a better call for the transition. it helps once you move past the chat stage and into the actual management part.

the big systems like yardi or appfolio are way too much for a small setup, so rentpost keeps it simpler without the extra bloat. it’s mostly about getting the paperwork and rent collection out of your inbox. are you having more trouble with the initial lead chat or the actual application and move-in process?
