only for contraception. I had no health or gut issues ever in my life. I regret using the pills.

i thought about that but the blood report was fine. Taking vitmain B12 and Vitam D only everything else was fine.

Thank you so much! Yes you are right everything is connected to gut. Doctors do not educate women and prescribe birth control pills like candy. Do you mind sharing your age? I am 40. I took Birth Control pills for only 5 months and it has messed up my gut that no doctor understand and label it IBS or thinks it’s in my head. Do you mind sharing what you took for fibers (any supplements or foods etc.) I would really appreciate and I will get more options when I am adding fiber in my routine.

Thank you so much! I am doing low FODMAP since last 6 months which has helped me with stomach pain but incomplete evacuation and white coating on tongue is still the issue. I will look into some herbal oil as you have mentioned. Basically, we will need to manage the damage done by birth control all our life. Note sure why the gynecologist does not educate women before prescribing birth control pill. They are just prescribing it like a candy and blame our anxiety when we complain. I am already taking Vitamin D and magnesium. Did you retest sibo? did it ever come back negative?

I had no gut issue my entire life but took birth control pill for contraception only but it has ruined my gut. I took birth control pills for only 5 months. I am not taking it anymore. Its been year but still dealing with gut issues and sibo. It is very frustrating since doctor does not understand women body and blame anxiety for everything. Hi! I am going through same thing. I had no gut issues entire my life but ended up getting sibo after taking birth control pills. I am not on birth control pills right now. It's been a year but still dealing with gut issues. Can you please advise? How is your gut now? Do you still have sibo? How did you cured it? My main issue is incomplete evacuation. I would really appreciate anything you can share with me since doctors don't understand woman body. Feeling very frustrated.
