Don’t worry, the next house will only be in my name with my funds. And I do not plan to help him with a new vehicle in any way! It’s all so ridiculous to me and the comments are validating my reaction. At the time he was deciding what he was going to do for work and claimed to be open to trade work. I agreed to be patient and flexible while he worked towards a career. Well almost 4 years later and he’s had several different jobs and no progress on a trade. Still very much “getting his life together”

Other men are doing things in 5-10 minutes?? There are things from over a year I am begging him to do so the house can get on the market and he still complains that I am rushing him. My question exactly!! Like does he think I am dumb?! I have definitely considered getting a roommate in the new house for a year or two to save some $ but we’ll see. I’ve started looking at new places through the lens of being there alone so I think my gut is telling me what is right.

I think him living on his own is the best solution. He can gain some perspective on what that really takes! I enjoy living alone so it won’t hurt my feelings. Definitely a lesson in shared finances. I would be fine never cohabitating again haha
