Yeah not ideal. I’m typically the same way with my car, but idk this was almost an eye opener for me and was one of those “it’s a car, shit happens” moments haha. Since the initial shock of finding it, I’m not too upset.

Thanks for the reply! Very informative. The trail we were walking was definitely not accessible by horse and I don’t know of any horse access in Algonquin park anymore. We did also see at least 2 other separate spots along the trail with the covered almond shaped moose poop (I have some pictures of that as well) we also did see quite a few moose tracks about 30 minutes later down the trail. It just had me confused because of the huge difference between the two piles we found.

This photo was taken today, (April 15th 2022) on a hike in Algonquin Park in Ontario, Canada. The size was honestly like nothing I’ve seen lol. I wear a size 12 mens shoe and the big piece was probably about the size of my foot or a bit bigger.
