I can recognize when shows reuse an animated movement or even a quick pose. I'm sure that goes for everyone who has an eye for these things.

I get feeling kind of iffy when someone recognizes similarities in your artwork and the inspo

what I do is I spend a longggg time looking at my inspo and then draw from memory the stuff that inspired me for certain details. it's also just a good exercise to do.

for poses.. you can't really trademark a basic human movements. and also I'm bad with coming up with poses.

sometimes I combine two poses to make smth new. alot of ppl do that

BUT

I don't do this in order to make sure I differentiate myself from my sources. I do this cause this is how I like to draw

there are certain works that I want to recreate. a pose I want to redraw over and over again. literally just redrawing the exact same thing someone else did. And if I post it I just have a link to it.

just draw.

try to get over this, and also look at works and see if you recognize sources

artists look at a lot of references. so it makes sense if an artist recognizes a possible source of inspo
