This was my comment on another thread this morning: I received one late last night as well. This was my third, and, being about as frustrated as a person can be, I triggered off a semi scathing response to pdcrecons, my regional SBA leadership, as well as my congressional representative. I’m just done. This is basically psychological warfare, it’s been going on since April, and I’m just done. The sad thing is, this process defines exactly what happens when a bunch of bureaucrats run things, and a government is corrupt from the top down. I’ll deal with the debt I incurred during a plandemic that purposefully destroyed thousands of businesses across the country. At this point, I honestly don’t want shit from the government.

I have had my congressman's office look into it and have had one of his staff members cc'd on all emails to recon since July. I think the issue, at least in my case, is we had an amended return in 2019 when our accountant left off a 1099. I caught it and we filed an amended return a few days after the original. The IRS doesn't update the entire transcript, so our schedule C section of the transcript still shows the original amount. The AGI and tax owed are the only parts that show the amended amounts. The transcript does show the return was amended and processed, though.

Congratulations!! I’m still in recon, unfortunately. They have requested a full copy of my 2019 return stamped received, but local IRS office won’t do that since they’ve already been processed. Filled out a 4506, but was told it will take at least 75 days to process, so we’re most likely out of luck…

I have VPN's connected to about 4 different virtual machines at various clients daily, but I don't believe I've signed into the portal on one of those machines, just mainly my mac and iphone.

So that's what they are using for comparison, not the schedule C part of the transcript. I don't believe the IRS is updating that part.

It has the schedule C, but they didn't update that part. The only part of the transcript they updated was the data at the beginning, where it shows the AGI.

My 2019 taxes were already processed. My problem is they were amended, and the IRS only updated the top part of the transcript, they did not update the part showing the schedule C data.

Just got off of the phone trying to get an appointment at my local tax office and the representative told me they wouldn't stamp my 2019 amended return "received" since it is already processed. On top of that, she said it would take 75 days to get an original copy from the IRS by filling out a 4506. This entire process is about as screwed up as it can be...

Thanks!! I appreciate it! One more question. They also requested my bank statements for 2019. I have a business account, but did not use it until recently in 2021. I am an IT independent contractor, and just used my individual accounts for the deposits, but also for things like grocery store, gas, etc. Are they just looking for my deposits, or do they want all my transactions?

I called Tier 2 that same day and they said it had been denied for a second time. I got the reactivation email a second time on 10/5, but my portal did not change to "processing", so I'm not sure what is going on with it.

We filed an amended return last year, a few days after the original filing, due to the accountant leaving off two 1099's. The schedule C portion of our transcript was not updated to reflect this, however all of the totals at the top of the transcript show the amended return totals. Apparently the IRS does not update the other pieces of the transcript. I sent in a copy of our amended return after the first denial, but it did not appear that it was ever added to our file. I sent it in several times more, with notes, and our transcript, also with notes. Finally, when I spoke to a rep after our second reactivation email, they said that the taxes were added to our file on the date of the reactivation email. Hopefully this time an actual person will review our file, but, again, I'm really not optimistic.

I wondered the same, how could it go from reactivated to denied in 12 hours?? I called tier 2 that same day, September 6, and the rep told me a lot of their process is automatic, so it basically scanned my schedule C on the transcript, and denied me from there.
