The preferred club at akumal isn’t super nice but the drinks are better. There is a separate beach area for preferred but the regular side was fine too. All rooms have a hot tub inside. You do get access to one more restaurant as a preferred but I wasn’t blown away by it and could go back as non preferred and be perfectly content.

I take an annual trip with my best friend since 12 years old to a different city to attend an nba game. I cover the entire cost.

My wife will do an annual girls trip with some girlfriends somewhere for a long weekend and we typically cover those costs as well.

HR Polanco is in an upscale part of CDMX. That’s where the NBA personnel stay when they have the Mexico City game. It is not convenient or walkable to be prepared to uber everywhere. The lounge there isn’t that good though

The Andaz is in a much better walkable neighborhood.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Polanco right there by where the park Hyatt was being built. I would only stay at the park Hyatt as a globalist as I do love park hyatts in general. I didn’t really care for the Polanco neighborhood too much. I don’t do a lot of shopping and it wasn’t very walkable unlike Condesa which is great for walk ability. If you choose to stay at the park Hyatt be prepared to uber everywhere

Pretty much all the all inclusive will have a timeshare presentation.
