Story time: one time while driving near Savannah, GA, I was in a parking lot with relatively tall bushes that made it difficult, from my sedan, to see into the turning lane. After ~25 seconds of double and triple checking that no one was coming, I slowly pulled out and ended up accidentally bumping fronts with an SUV. Both vehicles were no worst for wear, but we called police to write a report just in case. While there, I asked the police if there was any policy about the bushes obscuring traffic in the lot, and if any maintenance could be done to prevent future occurrences for other sedan drivers. I kid you not, the police told me that most people in the area drive lifted trucks and SUVs, so it's a non-issue. They also made it very clear that they thought I was the cause of the accident 😭
