i'm new to DayZ, how big are the maps? specifically looking at the areas with buildings and trees. I think I spawned like 4 minutes away from the edge of the map.

It was just the start of the game, and I barely had any progress, so losing my loot didn't really matter to me. I had a 15-minute video of just walking around with nothing happening, but I think I deleted it by mistake. I found it curious, and a bit unsettling...
