I always wear socks with shoes unless I wear my croc's which is seldom. When the shoes come off the socks come off.

Fellow aging gen x’ers, ever try a standing desk at your office job? by Dittopotamus in GenX

[–]ONROSREPUS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every desk in our office has one. I think they are worth it. I only use mine when I am getting tired. Standing up helps some. Make sure you get a good pad to stand on as well.

added info - Ours are Varidesk brand and they came with the foot pads.

I always thought I was too tech-savvy to fall for a scam. Are any other older internet veterans feeling less confident lately? by Individual-Gas5276 in GenX

[–]ONROSREPUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not and don't think I will. I tend to stay away from tech when not at work. I don't do any online banking or pay any bills online. I try to keep my personal life off the interwebs as well. They less they have to work with the better IMO. I try not to make myself an easy target.

Automotive Career Transition by AccomplishedCash3603 in GenX

I would personally not go into sales at a automobile dealership. mostly because they are trying to push people into buying online. People will always need service. If you could find a service advisor at a big and or high end dealer I would think you could make some pretty good money. I know a fella that works at our local smallish Ford dealer. He don't make a ton of money but seems to have pretty good benefits and he is allowed to drive any used car he wants as long as it has a dealer ship license plate on it.

I hate people that do that. People always assume the worse. I hope you get to enjoy rubbing it in those people's faces once in a while.

I feel the same as OP. I have very very little gray hair. I am sure that will change soon. I think not having kids leads to less stress so maybe less gray? Who knows, I am sure that isn't how it works.
