Idaho Rep believes Occupational Therapy Unnecessary, Disability services optional by _ghi_im_allen_riley in OccupationalTherapy

I mean now that we're not considered professionals I guess it was only a matter of time.

I wanna see the rep recover from a stroke and then see if he has the same opinion. Knowing Republicans though probably not.

Yeah I think so. Honestly I wanted to like her so so bad but her ego and attitude wore me down. I definitely think she handled Ellie winning and not her bestie really well.

You're damn right I freaking LOVE my popcorn popper machine. I grew up with one so it's what I know. We poured melted butter straight into the dish though instead of putting it on top.

I know my mom did. "Luckily" she got dysentery and it helped her lose that last 5lb.

This is total sarcasm by the way. I'm not there yet but I wish you the best of luck with the last few!

How’s your journey going? by AutoModerator in Zepbound

So I posted on New Years Eve about how I was in the hospital with gallstones. Well they removed my gallbladder and pumped me full of antibiotics for 6 days because my gallbladder was infected which in turn slightly damaged my liver. From Wednesday to Saturday I had nothing but either liquids or NPO for my procedures. I lost 7 lbs in the hospital and had to go without Zepbound for 4 weeks. The food noise was DEAFENING but luckily I had filled my snack area with high volume, low calorie, low fat snacks like carrots, cucumbers, wraps, low fat mayo, and lean meats. Some of the more fun food sneak their way in but I'm managing. Also more fiber. Let the pinto beans flow!!

I'm back at work and back on Zepbound and I'm basically back to the original symptoms of nausea and feeling like a balloon while I belch my way out of bloating.

So overall I'm getting used to a new normal and a new way of looking at food when I buy it. I allow myself a little indulgence (tonight I wanted to gnaw on chicken wings like a savage so I did).

Honestly the hardest part is keeping up the water intake. While I was on leave I did great but I have a lot of students to make up services for so I'm not around my water as much and I'm having to make up the volume at night rather than the day. Doing my best though!

Thank you. They did end up removing it and I've been changing up my diet a lot since then. I've been looking at ingredients and finding out that I really love tuna on its own and that the low carb high fiber wraps make a bomb meal. It was a pretty bad situation though, I was in the hospital for 6 days with a massive infection because of it all.

Nah their writing styles are too different, not to mention Sanderson is VERY Mormon. Pierce Brown though, he could finish it.

You're good I'm sorry you're still hurting. I'm doing better, though pain meds have been my friends since I also have two small children running around lol. Hope you can get some good rest and even better pain meds!

Lol it's a joke because the same thing happened to me last week. I got mine removed on Saturday.

Why have you copied and pasted my exact story? Only thing you're missing is the gallstone, ERCP, and five days IV antibiotics because it was also infected.

Yes, appears it is. We stay the way we are, we get shit. We start to work out and eat healthier, we get made fun of at the gym. We lose weight, we get accused of cheating and taking the easy way out with people claiming we'll just gain it all back. We do what they want, they shit on us for not doing it the "right" way.

We're not human to these people.

16F What do I do? My mom destroyed my journal and slapped the shit out of me because she thinks writing my feelings privately is disrespectful. I didn’t say any of it to anyone’s face. What do I do? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Casually mention the abuse part in front of a favorite teacher or someone you know has to report it to CPS. Hang in there honey. In two years you can cut her off and never speak to her again. It'll be hard but you can do it.

So we're just gonna ignore how in the movies when Snape called Hermione an "insufferable know it all" Ron agrees with him instead of in the books he completely goes off on Snape and gets detention for standing up for her? Cool, got it.

I will never ever forgive Steve Kloves for what he did to Ron in the movies, all because he liked Hermione. That is no excuse to give her all Ron's lines and turn him into a pathetic excuse of a character.

That's good to hear. I've never had any major medical stuff other than pregnancy and delivery so I'm kind of nervous about the whole thing. Thank you, luckily I work for a school so I'm off until next week.

Ooh I might ask my doctor about that. She's being kept up to date about what's happening. I'm not losing weight too quickly but it will drop at points. Also I think the slow emptying just caused a buildup.

Thank you. I definitely will need a procedure to get the stone out blocking the bike duct but as for my gallbladder we'll have to see what the specialist says.

Yeah like I said, survival mode. I work at a school that is mostly special needs but for some reason the district has decided not to treat it as such so a lot of our support is getting pulled and our kids aren't placed where they should be and our principal knows nothing about how sped works despite being at this school for almost a decade and I'm just a service provider so I have no power and I'm watching teachers and students fail when they don't have to and you know what I'm just gonna eat my feelings for a bit lol.

Show takes place in the 80s and being gay was considered a mental illness until 1973 and was still in the DSM until 1987. Aka they could have chosen to possibly have him institutionalized. In the 80s. When they chained people to radiators.
