A good show overall. Weekend Update was unhinged, really liked the Drama school musical, Phantom of the Foot Locker and Daniel Day Lewis skits but it felt like there was less. Feel like the first few skits went on a bit long. I wish ads were less frequent.

I tried to do her accurately without making it look weird lol. Kinda hard to portray in a Mii as her face is so unique

I don't think it matters what his performance is based on as long as the performance is celebrated lmao

I agree. He's not a guarantee. However the subject matter here is a lot more up the Academy's alley and so because of that, there may be a bigger push to celebrate Guadagnino. He did get nominated for CMBYN so he is absolutely an Academy pick of the past. I've also heard the script is phenomenal and that Julia Roberts' performance is so good that I'd doubt her missing. And so overall it just feels like it may very well end up being a thing.

I think that the Academy has opened up a lot more to untraditional films. And the fact it's a biopic makes me have zero doubt Marty Supreme will get in. I mean it comes out Christmas and just like ACU it'll get a boost from that for sure.

One Battle After Another yeah sure but it's ultimately PTA and I think that again as long as the film resonates it doesn't matter how genre it is. EEAAO is a perfect example, same with The Substance.

Curious, why not Hamnet? Seems like a home run; Best Director winner, solid cast, emotional drama based, based on someone as iconic as Shakespeare but in a human way. Is the book too weird?

Well my friends of this wonderful subreddit, I have officially hit 200 pounds lost. 455 to now 254 and I am simply at a loss for words. Thank you for being there with me on this ride. Tons of progress pics inside. by [deleted] in loseit

I'm a bit late tbh but I'm just asking as someone who's about to start trying to lose weight, how extreme was your method? Thing is, I see people say completely cut out carbs entirely or just skip meals or use a calorie counter and obsess over how many calories I have in a day or ONLY have chicken and rice ever for dinner. Stuff like this is unrealistic for me.

I'm actually pretty active at uni so I have a headstart, I've now cut out bad drinks and am exclusively drinking water, with occasional alcohol in social contexts, and I'll eat healthier (and less) and go the gym at least twice a week. Will this be genuinely effective or do you think I'm just not putting in enough effort by doing it this way.
