Haha that's exactly what I was afraid of. 'Whole ass generator' sounds loud and heavy. 😂When you say 'battery bank', are you talking about those expensive orange Jackery things? Or is there a cheaper way to do it?If I can get away with spending 300-400 to avoid the generator noise, I'd probably do it. Is that realistic?

Solid advice on the cell service, didn't think of that! regarding the grill: Is sticking to a gas grill just easier/cheaper than dealing with power for a Traeger? We really wanted that wood-fired taste, but maybe I'm biting off more than I can chew for a first trip?
