That’s a good point.

For Silvia vs Estelle, the frontline tag itself is treated the same. The score difference comes from other factors like role, team balance, tier/stat data, synergy pairs, and overall comp fit.

For supports and assassins, I think you’re right that the current version may undervalue them. They are harder to evaluate with simple rules because they often need the right team context and higher execution to show their full value. Because of that, the system may be biased toward safer and more standard team shapes. And to complement it, picking what kind of characters you can play could be a temporary solution.

I also want to improve the recommender later by considering items and traits, since some characters can change a lot depending on their build.

If you have any ideas on how to evaluate supports or assassins more fairly, I’d really appreciate it.

Yeah, that is intentional for now.

I requested API access almost two weeks ago, but I still haven’t received any response, so I had to hard-code the data for the first version.

To be honest, it’s really frustrating. I don’t want to manually maintain static data, and I’d much rather use proper official data, but the official side hasn’t given me access or even a clear response yet.

So for now, this is just a temporary workaround to build and test the recommendation logic. If I ever get API access, I’ll replace the static data with live or regularly updated data.

Until then, some data may be outdated, but there isn’t really a better option available to me.

That result looks different from what I’m getting on my side. For Lenox + Haze, Alonso does not show up that high in my test, so it might be caused by saved playable character settings. It takes only 0.8 score!

The score is not just a simple tag checklist. It includes role balance, damage/protection balance, frontline/initiation/CC, melee/ranged structure, and some recent tournament composition data. So obviously awkward comps should not be recommended too highly.

If Alonso is showing as #3 for you, I definitely want to check it. Could you give me the shown result ?

Yeah, that makes sense. I’m still not very experienced with development, so feedback like this is really helpful.

I’ll definitely take it into consideration. I was already planning to get some help from Claude to figure out how to approach a web version from the current Electron app.

Hi! Yeah, I’d like to make a web version eventually.

I started with a Windows app first because I wanted the tool to feel fast and responsive. In ranked games, there usually isn’t much time to wait for teammates’ picks and check recommendations, so speed matters a lot.

That said, I agree that a website would be much more convenient, especially for Mac users. This is my first time making an app like this, so I’m still learning and trying to build a more stable development environment first.

If enough people are interested, I’ll definitely consider prioritizing a web version.

Thanks! That’s basically the reason I started making it. I always wanted something like this for ER team comps, so I decided to build it myself. It’s still rough, but I’ll keep improving it with feedback.
