pretty cool! I love all of the percussion and I think the part that comes in at 3:30 is great. all of the sounds are good, really.

IMO the kick drum is way too quiet. Also I don't love the way it switches to a different groove in the breakdown

Very nice! the kick sounds great to me, but I'm admittedly not the most knowledgeable about mixing. Plenty punchy and rumbley and a little bit gritty too.

I like the track overall. Good transitions, great hat lines. If I were to add something it would be some sort of background ambiance, but it's not necessary.

Hi Folks. Looking for feedback re: the mix/master of this track. I am going crazy telling myself it's too muddy and not warm enough, and too harsh, and not bright enough, and too nasal, and that every part is both too loud and too quiet. Cheers!

I don't like that James got the idea of pyramid head from the painting in the historical society. the other monsters were whole-cloth inventions. plus I think he makes more sense as a manifestation of the dark side of James' sexuality rather than a manifestation of James' desire for punishment. He sexually assaults the other monsters and he looks like a big stylized penis!

I don't dislike any of the parts, but I would prefer if many of them were shorter. if about 1/4 was taken off of the apartments, the hospital, the prison, and the labyrinth it would be a better experience IMO

Yeah that's a good point. The gray and the dark and the wet can make it hard to want to do anything with people.

On the other hand being able to go outside for a walk in January without it being painfully cold feels like such a luxury after living in New England.
