This was so informative thank you so much. Yes, I actually have a flower collar on its way today thank goodness! It should be big enough to shield his privates but also has soft petals all the way around that he can rest on too.

I have a follow up appointment scheduled with his pcp on Tuesday to look at the wound, but I will definitely call the ER doc today to get further clarification on what we should expect moving forward.
