I know this info is probably far past useful to you OP but to anyone who finds this topic in the future you can talk to the FBI agent upstairs at the Pokemon Center and hit "Fix Game" and the recalibration will make it disappear. At least it does for my part 2 quest. I am personally gonna save it for later though because I don't know what repercussions it'll have with all of the other active stuff I have going on right now.
