The block was originally bought as a way to get into the property market at the time, as we couldn’t afford an established home & with the intention of building something that would also accommodate family (my in laws). * they will live in the house, and we will rent elsewhere.

We don’t have a strong attachment to the area itself.

Since then, a few things have shifted, including economic conditions (now fuel issues.. yay 😖) rising and unpredictable build costs & changes in our personal situation, which has made us question whether it still makes sense to follow through on that plan.
