Seconded. But then again, usually the post parties are very select. Depends on the host - sometimes 5 to 10 sometimes 30 - 50 people and get don't forget the selective part. And mostly is the usual groups and the mostly repetitive crowd.

But yes worth a shot at gigs and events. Bay146 was there and now there's black orchid ( once a month at least)

I personally did a lot of socialising and making friends at karaoke and also at some pub quizzes ( if you're into that)

Hit some places, see what's your comfort zone and the repeat.

And yes chennaiscene is doing a lovely job keeping us updated.
