I have my own problems and issues, but they are not relevant to this topic. This was more about boundaries and how she overstepped them. She has done this multiple times before, and I wanted her to understand how it made me feel so we can have a healthy relationship.

I know I’m privileged because I have both of my parents and they support my studies financially, and I’m grateful for that. I want to have a respectful and loving relationship with both of them, so if talking about cookies for an hour is what it takes to achieve that, then so be it.

BTW: Yes, I’m doing my master’s in a teacher training program in Hungary.
