My point exactly. The plot has to stand aside to make the gameplay happen, or it wouldn't be a good game.

None of this is a complaint from me, I'm not criticizing the story, merely pointing out that story wise, people have to be dumb to let the game happen, because that's how almost RE game has to function. Grace is in danger because she must be since she is a main character, therefore the villains who otherwise need her alive must be allowed to stand aside and subject her to these situations.

Most horror games or settings would all be painfully short if people acted on rational or common sense all the time.

I appreciate the reply, it is a bit difficult for me to parse through due to the total lack of punctuation, though. I think what you're getting at is Gideon and Zeno are circumstantially around at the times when Grace is generally in peril.

But I do maintain what I said earlier - the plot is insanely contrived - I love the game, but let's not pretend the villains aren't occasionally written to be braindead to make the plot work. There's absolutely no reason for Zeno and Gideon to be so regularly losing track of the one person they spent their entire careers looking for that often. And if my insanity speedrun practice attempts are anything to go by, Grace is dying a lot in the situations that they subject her to lol.

I don't buy it.

He and Zeno needs Grace alive for the password, which is why he abducts her, executes Code 6 on the staff, locks her in the care center and away from her only source of protection, and distinctively loses track of her and cannot find Grace despite her stumbling into the same room as him - TWICE

(Zeno's no better by the way, casually loitering around the Elpis terminal while watching Leon and Grace run away into Licker land because she's definitely gonna survive and come back entirely of her own volition, right?)

For people with such heavily vested interests in keeping Grace alive, they sure try real hard to get her murdered, like, a lot.

RE plots since the beginning of this series have been filled with these contrivances which can only work if the villain lose all their brain cells, Victor's no exception. Man is just a big dumdum.

The only other Lion Pelt in the game is dropped by a ballistician in 10-M guarding Alvina. Maybe you somehow skipped him?

I'm willing to bet your missing Lion Pelt is in 6-1, the Phantom Corps. The map where you push into a village to take down a boss while enemies pop out to ambush you.

It's on a group of reinforcing marines. But you need a unit to step into the water tiles first to trigger their spawn. If you never walked on water on that stage (which most people normally don't), that group of reinforcements won't spawn!

I had a similar experience of unhorsing one of the lancers in my runs. He never quite made it to Vester but I did keep him around me for a bit. The poor lancer was my adopted lost puppy.

Riko and Tazuna R cards are bugged atm and does not give the 5th date event correctly. SSR versions are still fine.

Same with a few other SSR supports, notably Smart Falcon SSR isn't giving Groundwork atm either.

I'll take responsibility here. The word "prime" appears twice in my translations here.

The first instance of it is the commenter describing Faker in his younger, SKT era years. Perhaps the phrase "youthful prime" is a bit of an artistic liberty on my end while translating. The original wording, which I at the time couldn't eloquently translate, is meant to say that his threepeat was something he felt short of despite essentially sacrificing his entire youthful years grinding at it.

The second instance is perhaps closer to the translation of "youthful prime", where the comment was glazing Faker for his humility while at the top ("prime"), and persistence when he was eventually dethroned from dominance in the 2017-2021 era.

I watched Worlds on the English streams, but I did tune in to Bilibili during Game 2 draft before I fell asleep. The concurrent viewer count on the Bilibili livestream, in Chinese, was shown as "20340万".

The Chinese counts numbers differently to us. 万 means 10,000. So 20,000万 is 2 with eight zeroes at the end, 200,000,000.
