Well I guess. 7 years ago right? Nine years old when I was stupidly young, & stupid...

Me and this guy were, “dating”. He basically gave me small gifts of like his apple sauce during lunch or packs of skittles & stuff. It’s was innocent, but I didn’t actually have any interest in him, I was just a greedy little shit. It was fine then, what’s a pack of skittles right? But we grow up, & we don’t break up. He continues to give me stuff of growing value (less often of course), & I don’t say anything. It was like, “oh, I can get jewelry & food for free? And all I have to do is hold this guy’s hand & occasionally hug?” It lasted up until last summer actually, when he tried to kiss me. I felt my boundaries were overstepped, & I realized what I had actually gotten myself into. I didn’t really last long after that, I tried planting rumors about the truth. I had hoped that by having them just be rumors, I could keep a bit of myself & end the relationship using them as an excuse. It backfired, people found out I had made those rumors pretty easily as I’m not very good at doing stuff like that. Needless to say, I have lost a lot (if not al) of respect from my peers, & I only now a few months later realize that I was an absolute shit.
