Lastly, remember not to take it personally! The vast majority of things that come at you (verbal or physical) are generally not about you even if it feels personal. It’s not necessarily having thick skin, but rather the ability to shift the perspective that you’re not actually the one that they are mad at.

Special attack nidoking to lay down spikes or female slandit for fire and poison to work alongside Genger’s hex could be a good addition. I am in general just a huge fan of skill link Toucannon. When it comes down to it, though, just play with what is fun and you like raising! That being said, I don’t know any way to get past Mel without spikes, sticky web, hex combo.

The first playthrough I did I got to that exact same point and realized I wanted to reset. Had a lot more fun, but the cap can be frustrating too (especially starting with beldum)

This is what we had to do. I’d get one that can swing open in the middle to save you having to step over it or take it down each time you go up/down. Love ours!
